The View, Apartment, With Magnificent Sea View in Hermanus

The View offers a one-bedroom apartment with a separate living room and a private terrace. The bedroom has an oversized double bed with quality linen and electric blankets. The ensuite bathroom includes a toilet and shower area without a privacy screen, and guests note that the open layout means seeing the toilet from the bed. Sliding doors to the terrace lack security bars and the window does not open, so ventilation relies on air conditioning. Guests often keep curtains drawn due to neighbors walking past the windows.

The kitchenette has a microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, and air fryer. It lacks a cooktop, so guests cannot cook full meals. Two plates, two glasses, and two cups are provided. A braai (BBQ) grill is available in the shared garden but was reported as not always clean. Lighting over the counter is dim, making food preparation difficult in the evening.

Free WiFi and parking are included. Check-in is private with the host meeting guests. A safety deposit box and security alarm are provided. The property is non-smoking throughout. Guests receive a book with recommendations and can contact Peter during their stay.
